IN DIFFICULT TIMES, THERE ARE 14 WAYS TO RAISE YOUR RIZQ AND INVEST IN YOUR WEALTH.

Many of us are paying greater attention to our finances, and for good reason—the cost of living issue and inflation at a 40-year high have made things more difficult. You might have downloaded budgeting tools or become overly accustomed to spreadsheets. Some people might have launched a side business or thought about converting one of their interests into a venture.

There are a tonne of websites out there that will tell you how to make money, get into side hustles, and save money, but we have put together 14 Ways to Increase Your Rizq and Put Barakah in Your Wealth to assist you in navigating the wave of the rising cost of living.

1. TRUST IN HIM

Blessings and provisions come to us through more than just the actions of our limbs and tongue; they actually start with the deeds of our emotions. One of these is putting all of your faith and trust in Allah, knowing that He is ar-Razzaq, the One and Only Provider, and the source of all the blessings you receive. He promises to provide for us if we completely rely on Him.

"If you would put your faith in Allah as you should, He would undoubtedly provide for you just as He does for the birds. They go early in the morning on an empty stomach and return later in the day on a full stomach."

2. DEVELOP GRATITUDE

One more act of the heart, expressing thanks is among the most cherished expressions of devotion and brings us nearer to God.

"Therefore, keep Me in mind (by praying, glorifying). I'll think of you, be thankful to Me for all of My favours bestowed upon you, and I'll never be ungrateful to Me."

We should endeavour to appreciate each blessing in our lives and be thankful for what Allah has given us. We far too frequently take for granted what we have and fail to stop and consider all the blessings we have been given.

We are also reminded that expressing thanks will multiply our blessings.

"And [remember] when your Lord said, 'If you display ingratitude, indeed, My Punishment is terrible; but if you show gratitude, I will assuredly increase you [in favour]'."

There will always be challenges in life, but if we can shift our perspective, we can choose to see the vast majority of gifts that far outweigh them. Allah will enhance us in good and bless us in that if we demonstrate contentment in what has been decided.

"Indeed, Allah will test His servant with what He provides. Whoever is content with the amount that Allah has allotted for him will receive blessings and growth in it. Anyone who lacks contentment will never experience blessing in it."

To start developing this habit, try keeping a thankfulness notebook or utilising one of the many gratitude apps.

3. ASK FOR PARDON

Seeking forgiveness for our transgressions and failings is one of the simplest ways we can improve our rizq.

Nuh (as) advised his followers to ask Allah for forgiveness, promising them that if they did, He would shower them with material rewards.

"Ask your Lord for forgiveness; He will send you plenty of rain because He is a merciful God. And give you more children and money, and give you gardens, and give you rivers."

Ibn al-Qayyim cited istighfar (asking forgiveness) as one of the best adhkar that increases provision and fends off adversity.

4. HAVE A GODLY MINDSET

One of the reasons why Allah bestows His Bounty upon a person is because they have faith in Allah and generally practise taqwa. He claims,

"And if only the inhabitants of the cities had revered and believed in Allah, We would have granted them bounties from both the heavens and the earth. However, they disbelieved [the messengers], so We took them for what they were earning."

With His Promise for those who are obedient to Him, He also instils a tremendous deal of hope in the heart of a believer.

"Whoever fears Allah and fulfils his obligation to Him, He will provide a path for him to escape (from every difficulty). And He will make provision for him from places he does not anticipate."

5. ABANDON SINS

Abandoning sins is a natural result of having a conscious relationship with God and asking for forgiveness. According to the Prophet, one effect of our sins is that they prevent us from having access to resources in the worldly life (saw).

"A man's provision is taken away because of the sins he commits."

We should evaluate our activities and identify where we are lacking when faced with challenges in life, whether they be related to a lack of money, strained relationships with others, our jobs, or our personal lives.

Whatever is beneficial for you comes from Allah, but whatever is bad for you comes from you.

6. GIVE YOURSELF ENTIRELY TO HIM

It should come as no surprise that by committing ourselves to Allah, His worship, and servitude, our financial and emotional struggles would be alleviated, just as sins prevent provision from flowing.

Says the Prophet (saw) "Allah declares, "O Adam's son! Take some time to regularly worship me; if you don't, I'll eliminate your poverty and fill your heart with joy. I'll keep your hands busy all the time, but I won't make you rich."

Also, he (seen) informed us about "...only good deeds can lengthen one's life."

7. START PRAYING

On the Day of Judgment, our prayers will be the first act we are judged on; if they are righteous, then the remainder of our deeds will also be.

In a hadith qudsi,  "O Son of Adam, do not neglect to offer Me four rakahs of prayer at the start of your day, and (as a result) I shall be your sufficient at its conclusion," declares Allah the Exalted."

When Allah says that He will "suffice" us, He implies that He will keep us safe from all harm, error, and sin, as well as allurge all our concerns and grant us pardon for our failings. There is debate among scholars as to whether these four units of prayer are the two sunnah and two fardh raka'at of the fajr prayer or the four units of the duha prayer, which is recited from 20 minutes after the sun rises until just before noon.

8. REQUEST HIM

One of the means Allah gave us to attain provision is to ask for His Favours and Bounty, having complete conviction that He is the Sustainer and Provider, and is the only One we should ask and whose Aid we should seek.

The Prophet (saw) would supplicate, after he completed his fajr prayer, "O Allah, grant me wisdom that is helpful, sustenance that is righteous, and righteous deeds," he prayed."

In addition, he (saw) would offer prayers for happiness with what Allah had provided him:  "Make me happy with what You have given me, bless me in it, and make all I lack for me into something excellent, O Allah."

The act of du'a itself is an act of worship and one way to challenge an Allah-imposed rule:

"Du'a is the only thing that can change the Divine decree."

The situations and locations where du'a is most likely to be heard are when we are in prostration, during the adhan and iqamah, when we are facing the qiblah, and when it is pouring.

9. UPHOLD KINSHIP BONDS

Allah also has given us a method to boom our provision via our relationships with the rest of His creation. this is every other possibility to demonstrate our taqwa and devotion to Him practically in our lives. We do no longer pick our loved ones, and we will often locate we are tested with the aid of those closest to us. but by way of maintaining the ties of kinship, our provision can be accelerated.

“Whoever would love his provision to be plentiful and his lifespan to be extended, let him uphold his ties of kinship.”

10. SUPPORT THE INCLINED

one of the other approaches we are able to growth our provision, via our members of the family with people is by way of supporting the ones in need.

“are seeking out the susceptible for me, for you are handiest given provision and divine help due to your take care of the prone.”

We know that the bad and destitute in this lifestyles, will enter Paradise before the wealthy of the ummah, and we are recommended often within the Qur’an and hadith to relieve the difficulty of these in worse instances than ourselves.

11. PROVIDE CHARITY

one of the ways in which we will mainly assist the ones in want is thru giving charity.

We were assured through the Prophet (noticed) that “Charity does not decrease wealth.” (Muslim), rather it brings advantages and purifies your wealth. helping others will now not simplest deliver with it non secular rewards, but will also make you sense uplifted and effective. Imam an-Nawawi explained that which means our wealth might be blessed because of the charity we give, in addition to harm being avoided because of it. It also manner that even if we seem worse off materially for a time, we are able to be compensated oftentimes over, with the praise in the next existence.

Allah reminds us regularly inside the Qur’an that whoever gives in charity may be recompensed manifold.

“Say: “really, my Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and (also) restricts (it) for him, and in anyway you spend of something (in Allah’s motive), he's going to compensate it. And he is the nice of providers.”

He guarantees to multiply the praise up to seven-hundred times for giving in charity in His way:

“The likeness of individuals who spend their wealth inside the manner of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and every ear has one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is All-sufficient for His creatures’ desires, All-Knower.”

12. PRESERVE IT HALAL

You ought to ensure your earnings is received in a halal way, per the pointers of Islam, and is each moral and ethical. This isn't always most effective in terms of the manner you earn a residing, but also whom you figure for, and the way it is sourced.

The Prophet (saw) explained the significance of conducting ourselves with integrity and transparency when it comes to enterprise. “the two parties of a transaction have the right (to annul the agreement) as long as they do now not separate (from every other). So, in the event that they have been truthful (to each other), and honest in explaining (the defects of an object), then they will be blessed in their transaction. however, if they lied, and hid (the defects of an object) then the blessings in their transaction are destroyed.” (Muslim)

The associate, Ibn Abbas (ra) warned of the outcomes of taking prohibited way: “there may be no believer or sinner however that Allah Almighty has decreed his provision from the lawful. If he is affected person until it comes to him, Allah will deliver it to him. If he turns into worrying and consumes something from the illegal, Allah will lower his provision from the lawful.” (Hilyat al-Awliya)

13. CONSUME COLLECTIVELY

we will study methods to boom our income and shop pennies, but we also can don't forget a way to carry barakah back into our houses. ingesting together has each non secular and social benefits. We ought to encourage our family and pals to share our food collectively, with our spouses or youngsters, to convey barakah into our homes.

“devour collectively and do no longer consume one after the other, as there is more barakah whilst eating in a collection.”

The Prophet (noticed) explained that when we consume together, the blessing in the meals increases and lots of greater mouths may be fed than we may also anticipate.

“The food of one person suffices for 2, the meals of folks suffices for four persons, and the food of 4 people suffices for eight people.”

similarly, whilst we consume we ought to examine the etiquettes of the Prophet (saw), which include ingesting from what's in the front people.

“Blessing descends upon meals in its middle, so consume from the perimeters of the vessel and do now not eat from its middle.”

We have to additionally invoke benefits earlier than and when we devour, because the Prophet (noticed) did.

14. SPREAD GREETINGS OF PEACE

some other manner to increase the benefits in our home, is making sure we deliver greetings of peace whilst we input. The Prophet (noticed) defined such someone as being within the care and safety of Allah. in the end, their desires will be met and they'll acquire their provision on this life, and they're promised Paradise in the next.

“There are three people who are within the security and care of Allah. even as alive, they're provided sustenance and their needs sorted, and after they skip away, Allah will furnish them entry into Jannah; the person who enters his home and gives the greeting of salaam is inside the care of Allah, the one who goes to the mosque is within the security of Allah and the one who is going out within the direction of Allah is within the security of Allah.”
